The Oakland Athletics, a well-known Major League Baseball (MLB) team, are making significant strides towards their planned relocation to Las Vegas, Nevada, for the 2028 season. Aside from the baseball stadium, the development project includes a new hotel and casino resort by Bally’s Corporation. The resort will feature luxurious accommodations, a 90,000 square feet casino, various dining options, and retail outlets, all within the same 35-acre lot.
The construction of Bally’s hotel and casino resort will align with phase one of the ballpark’s development. Once completed, the casino is set to offer 75 table games, a sportsbook, a poker room, and 1,500 slot machines, catering to MLB fans and visitors to Las Vegas.
One of the concerns surrounding the new ballpark is the impact on traffic and the availability of parking spaces. Based on county regulations requiring 1 parking space for every 4 seats, over 7,000 parking spots would be needed for the ballpark’s capacity.
